She holds a doctoral degree in clinical psychology from <strong>University College London<\/strong>, a master\u2019s degree in addictions from the Institute of Psychiatry and an undergraduate degree in psychology from <strong>Goldsmiths College, University of London<\/strong>. She has <strong>15 years\u2019 experience<\/strong> working in the <strong>NHS<\/strong>, has provided treatment to patients and supervision to clinical staff at <strong>The Priory Hospital North London<\/strong> and has also been an <strong>honorary lecturer for doctoral trainees<\/strong> at <strong>University College London<\/strong>. <strong>Dr San<\/strong> has worked for many years as an <strong>expert witness<\/strong> with the courts and as a consultant for <strong>various media organisations<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>At her private practice in Mill\u00a0Hill,\u00a0<strong>North West London<\/strong>, Dr San treats a range of mental health problems in people of all ages. She tailors therapy to the individual but works primarily using <strong>CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy)<\/strong> and <strong>mindfulness<\/strong>, with her psychological perspective being informed by other approaches including <strong>psychodynamic<\/strong> and <strong>attachment theory<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dr San<\/strong>\u00a0works extensively in all areas of mental health and has special interests in <strong>anxiety, addictions, trauma, forensic psychology, emotional abuse and learning disability<\/strong>.
